DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND:
Marion County Utilities has been recognized by the National Association of Clean Water Agencies (NACWA) for outstanding environmental compliance across five treatment facilities. The Stonecrest Water Reclamation Facility and the Salt Springs Wastewater Treatment Facility earned the prestigious Platinum 8 Peak Performance Award, marking eight (8) consecutive years of receiving the Platinum Award for complete and consistent permit compliance. Additionally, the NW Regional, Silver Springs Shores, and SW Regional Water Reclamation Facilities received Gold Peak Performance Awards for achieving complete and consistent permit compliance throughout 2025.
