DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND:
Based on the high level of engagement and interest in the proposed Northern Turnpike Extension, Florida’s Turnpike Enterprise, part of the FDOT, is increasing opportunities to work with local governments, stakeholders, and residents in the project study area.
The Department will be hosting Engagement Centers and small group meetings during the next several months on a rotating basis throughout the four (4) county study area, including Citrus, Levy, Marion, and Sumter. Information on scheduling will be available at www.floridasturnpike.com/NTE <http://www.floridasturnpike.com/NTE> and media publications in the coming weeks.
