DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND:
Marion County Fire Rescue is requesting a budget amendment for multiple accounts that will need funds through the end of the fiscal year. Some of the accounts have absorbed increased vendor costs for items such as utilities, phone line increases, increased costs in diesel, etc. There are funds in other accounts that can cover these needs, due to decreased need or demand for items such as classes due to expiring contracts and changes in recruitment/hiring, as well as scheduling conflicts for ultrasounds. This is non-recurring and should be completed by September 30, 2026.
