DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND:
Fleet Management requests approval to issue two open purchase orders to Cummins Inc. for repairs and maintenance services. Many of the current heavy fleet of equipment, vehicles and generators are powered by Cummins engines. One purchase order in the amount of $50,000 is for repairs and service, and the second purchase order in the amount of $10,000 is for parts for repairs completed at the County Fleet Facility.
BUDGET/IMPACT:
Neutral; total expenditure of $60,000. Funding is available in line AA178519-546305 (Repairs/Maintenance - Vehicle/Equipment) for $50,000 and line AA178519-552257 (Parts - Vehicle/Equipment) for $10,000.
