DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND:
The item(s) below have been received by Procurement Services and are approved for conformance with the Procurement Code/Manual, pending approval at today’s meeting.
Pending Requisition/Alan Jay Chevrolet Cadillac Inc. - Building Department requests approval to purchase four (4) 2022 GMC Classic Sierra 1500 Double Cab 4WD ($30,812/each). This is part of the vehicle reassignment plan. These vehicles will replace two (2) being transferred to Park and Recreation (Asset numbers 50288 and 50301) and two (2) being transferred to Fleet Management (Asset numbers 47833 and 48454). Total expenditure of $123,248; funds are available in line EP318524-564101. This purchase meets the requirements of competitive bidding per Sourcewell 120716-NAF.

Pending Requisition/Duval Ford LLC - Marion County Utilities requests approval to purchase four (4) 2022 Ford F-250 Super Duty, 2WD trucks with Regular Cab, 6.2L V8 Engine and trailer brake controller ($37,478.70/each), to replace four (4) older vehicles that have reached the end of their useful life. Total expenditure $149,914.80; funds are available in lines ZF442533-564101 ($112,436.10) and ZF445535-564101 ($37,478.70). This purchase meets competitive bidding requirements per Florida State Contract #25100000-19-1 for Motor Vehicles.

Pending Requisition/ Polydyne, Inc. - Marion County Utilities requests approval to purchase liquid polymer for bio-solid dewatering in the centrifuge systems at multiple wastewater treatment facilities. Total expenditure for FY 21/22 is $66,700; funds are available in line ZF445535-552108. This item is standardized under 12ST-223.
Pending Requisition/ Dell Financial Services, LLC - Information Technologies requests approval to purchase (4) Main Firewalls with Management Tools and three (3) years maintenance and support ($89,270.85), (32) Remote Firewalls with Management Tools and three (3) years maintenance and support ($46,344.14), VPN with three (3) years maintenance and support ($19,864.19), and E-mail Security and Encryption Services with three (3) years maintenance and support ($22,711.52), to replace the current firewalls that service the main Marion County campus and numerous remote sites as all are approaching their end-of-life and manufacturer support.
