DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND:
On May 23, 2025, the Board adopted Ordinance No. 2025-17, the “Marion County Fire Rescue Impact Fee Ordinance.” This agreement provides for City collection of those impact fees within the City of Belleview and remittance to the County. The City collection of the Impact Fees is more cost effective than any alternative collection method. We will have a separate Interlocal Agreement with the City of Ocala for similar collection services. The City Commission is considering this Agreement on October 7th.
