DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND:
The proposed Marion County Veterans Hall of Fame will honor local men and women who have demonstrated exceptional service to our nation and outstanding dedication to our community.
If approved, this annual program would recognize local veterans whose leadership, integrity, and continued commitment exemplify the highest ideals of military and public service.
In addition to celebrating these achievements locally, the proposed program will also serve as a strategic pipeline of strong candidates for submittal to the Florida Veterans’ Hall of Fame, ensuring Marion County’s most distinguished veterans receive statewide consideration and recognition.
