DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND:
Marion County Fire Rescue is anticipating the need for $18,000 for projected phone bills for the EMS department for the rest of the fiscal year, based on current trending invoices. These phone costs include the costs for service for the MG90s and a flip phone for each rescue.
Due to scheduling conflicts, the billing staff's budgeted funds for continuing education and conferences remained unspent, allowing them to be reappropriated to address current fiscal year needs such as this.
