DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND:
In May of 2025, during an application for funding from the Florida Department of Emergency Management, Marion County Utilities obtained quotes for five (5) portable generators. Recent quotes for the generators came in higher than originally projected. As a result, there are insufficient funds within the machinery and equipment object.
