DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND:
On February 17, 2026, the Board approved the third contract amendment with Pure Cuts and Lawn Maintenance, LLC, to provide countywide drainage retention area (DRA) mowing. On behalf of the Office of the County Engineer (OCE), Procurement is now requesting Board approval to formally terminate the existing contract with Pure Cuts and Lawn Maintenance, LLC.
Since the time of the contract amendment award, the contractor has failed to complete cycle two and cycle three within the contracted timeline, as well as failed to provide the county with a completion schedule. These contracts are for areas III and V-B.
DRA mowing for all contracts ends in November. OCE will be quoting out DRA mowing work until the contract is re-bid next year.
