DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND:
Marion County Fire Rescue worked with the Information Technology and Facilities Management departments to obtain a quote from a vendor that could install two (2) projectors and TV monitor for the Training Room so that it can project to a larger audience. The current set up in the room does not accommodate the capacity that the room could hold for trainings, meetings, and presentations.
Projectors were currently budgeted in the Machinery & Equipment line item; however, the entire project, being managed by a vendor, will be required to be paid from the Repairs/Maintenance - Equipment line item. Therefore, the funds are being moved from the line item to cover the projectors and TV, with savings from the Computer Software line item from negotiated rates through a software vendor that is being used for this project to be completed this fiscal year.
