DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND:

George and Lisa Scott have applied to rezone a 1.00-acre property at 6270 SE 88th Street, Ocala FL 34472, from General Agriculture (A-1) to Single-Family Dwelling (R-1), on a one-acre parcel with a Parcel Number of 3752-015-005, pursuant to the provisions of Land Development Code (LDC) Division 2.7 - Zoning and LDC Section 4.2. The subject property has a Medium Residential (MR) land use designation and is situated inside the Urban Growth Boundary (UGB) and in the County's Primary Springs Protection Overlay Zone (PSPOZ). The intention of this zoning change is to correct an existing code violation.
