DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND:
On February 3, 2026 the Board agreed that design and bidding for construction of the Silver Creek and Silver Creek 1st Addition Road & Drainage Improvement Area could proceed. During a Final Public Hearing scheduled for Wednesday, September 23, 2026 at 2:00 p.m., the Board will be asked to consider the annual special assessment for approval and to award the construction bid for road and drainage improvements. An informational meeting will be scheduled with property owners prior to the Final Public Hearing.
Pursuant to the Capital Improvement Ordinance (Number 09-10), the attached initial assessment resolution has been prepared for the following project:
Silver Creek and Silver Creek 1st Addition Road & Drainage Improvement Area
This project is inclusive of 0.92 miles of roadway and drainage maintenance.

Motion to approve and authorize the Chairman and Clerk to execute the attached initial assessment resolution.
