DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND:
The current expenditure budget appropriation is inadequate due to unexpected repairs needed on the Rainbow Lakes Estates maintenance truck and the failure of two treadmills in the community gym, both of which are beyond repair and have left the facility without a usable treadmill. One treadmill is planned for replacement in the next fiscal year, but both machines went down over the summer and maintenance has been unable to repair them. To address these needs, reserve funds have been identified as the appropriate source. This is considered a non-recurring issue, as funds have already been allocated in future budgets for commercial-grade gym equipment replacements and anticipated vehicle servicing and maintenance.
