DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND:
Public Safety Communications is requesting a one-time reallocation of funds from Utility Services - Electric, Water, Sewer to Training and Education. The computer aided dispatch (CAD) system, CentralSquare, is scheduled for upgrade in August of 2024. Due to the extent of the upgrade to the system, training will be required for the administrators and users of the CAD system. The training covers: CAD Enterprise - System Administration/Code File Refresher, Mobile Enterprise - Mobile Administration and Configuration, CAD Enterprise - Supervisor Training, and Mobile Enterprise - End User | Train the Trainer. Savings exist within Utility Services - Electric, Water, Sewer due to the electric and water usage/costs being less than originally anticipated for the fiscal year.
