DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND:
The Prevention Division of the Marion County Fire Rescue Department is recognizing the revenue generated from false alarms. These funds will be used to enhance training and education for fire inspectors. Additionally, the division will purchase operating supplies to prepare for Fire Prevention Month with the goal to create greater public awareness about fire alarms and safety.
BUDGET/IMPACT:
Increase Fire, Rescue and EMS Fund appropriation by $4,000.
