DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND:
This is a request for approval and execution of a Resolution declaring that a Public Hearing be held to consider a petition made by David Ion III and Robin Doyle to close and abandon a portion within the Silver City subdivision (Plat Book A, Page 156) and to renounce and disclaim any right of the County and the general public.
The petition identifies the roadway as having never been opened or constructed and divides applicant’s property.
The request for road closure completed the development review process and was approved on September 14, 2026.

RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Motion to adopt and authorize the Chairman and Clerk to execute the Resolution declaring a Public Hearing date on Tuesday, November 17, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. or soon thereafter in the McPherson Governmental Campus Auditorium.
