The property owner Billie L. Armstrong filed a rezoning application to change from Community Business (B-2) to Single Family Dwelling (R-1) for a ± 1.43-acre parcel. The subject property has a future land use designation as Commercial. The property lies at the intersection of NE 64th Avenue Road and Pine Road in the Silver Springs Shores Unit 19. The site is located outside the Urban Growth Boundary and in the Primary Springs Protection Zone. The application proposes rezoning to Single Family Dwelling (R-1) so that they may split the parcel into two separate lots at a later time, this will require a replat.
