DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND:
On September 30, 2020, the County Administrator approved a three (3) year contract with Accurate Background Check, Inc. to provide background screening services for County employees, volunteers, and interns. These screenings ensure compliance with County policies and support a safe and reliable workforce. Accurate Background Check, Inc. has complied with all terms and conditions of the original agreement, and the Human Resources Director, Sara Caron, recommends renewing the contract for the final available term, which will remain in effect through September 30, 2026.
Attached for review is a draft of the contract amendment. Pending approval at today’s meeting, it will be sent to the vendor for signature, and upon return, will be forwarded to the County Attorney, Clerk and Chairman for signatures.

Neutral; estimated annual expenditure of $53,000. Funding is from line AA170513-531109, Human Resources General Fund

Motion to approve and allow staff to issue and upon approval by Legal, authorize the Chairman and Clerk to execute the contract amendment with Accurate Background Check, Inc., under 20P-162.
