DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND:
Contracts with several firms were approved by the Board at the October 17, 2023, meeting to provide geotechnical engineering services for use by all County departments. Following the contract renewal approved on December 3, 2024, Procurement Services received written notification from Universal Engineering Sciences of a legal name change to UES Professional Solutions, LLC.
Procurement Services seeks approval to process the attached contract amendment reflecting this name change. The firm’s updated name was officially registered with Sunbiz on May 3, 2024.
Included for review are the revised contract amendment and documentation verifying the firm's legal name change.
BUDGET/IMPACT:
None; purchase orders over $50,000 will be brought back to the Board for review and approval.
