DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND:
Crime Stoppers of Marion County, Inc. is a non-profit program that is funded by a grant from the Office of the Attorney General. In order to continue their service to the community, which provides an avenue for people to report crimes and receive rewards completely anonymously, an updated letter is required from the local Board of County Commissioners. This letter authorizes Crime Stoppers of Marion County, Inc to act as Marion County’s agent solely for the purpose of applying for, receiving and expending grant funds from the Crime Stoppers Trust Fund.
