DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND:
This agenda item requests approval of the following change orders associated with water main expansion infrastructure project funded by the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA):
- Change Order 1 to Purchase Order 2401233 (22P-179-CA-02) - Marion Oaks Water Main Extension (Phases 1 & 2), Quality Enterprises USA, Inc. ($3,035,242.00): Provides for the expansion of the potable water distribution system within identified areas of Marion Oaks utilizing available ARPA funding, installation of water mains and associated infrastructure and includes credits for unused materials and allowances from the original project scope.
- Change Order 2 to Purchase Order 2401187 (21Q-227-TO-13) - Marion Oaks Water Main Extension (Phases 1 & 2), Kimley-Horn & Associates, Inc. ($65,080.00): Provides additional professional services necessary to maintain Davis-Bacon Act compliance associated with ARPA-funded potable water infrastructure expansion activities in Marion Oaks.
Attached are the proposed change orders for review. Following Board approval, they will be presented to the Chairman for signature and execution.
BUDGET/IMPACT:
Neutral; funding for the proposed change orders, including associated additions and deduction, is available from the funding sources identified below:
