DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND:
On February 14, 2025, the Marion County Administrator sent a letter to Citrus, Hernando, Lake, Sumter, and Seminole counties requesting reimbursement related to the new Medical Examiner facility project, which is currently on hold.
On March 31, 2025, Seminole County issued a rebuttal letter in response and requested additional public records.
On April 29, 2025, Marion County Fire Rescue Chief James Banta provided a formal response to Seminole County, including the requested public records and the attached letter.
All letters are attached for the Board’s review.
