DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND:
In June of 2021, the Board approved a dedicated Vendor Liaison position for Marion County Procurement Services. This position was put into place to:
• Ensure the fair and equitable treatment of all persons who deal with the procurement system,
• Encouraging the growth of local businesses through aggressive promotion of an atmosphere which is conducive to the development of increased participation in the Marion County’s procurement system, and
• Provide for increased public confidence in the procedures followed by Marion County, in regards to public procurement.
Delia Frosolono applied and was chosen for the Vendor Liaison position. Delia has a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Relations and has worked as a Procurement Contract Analyst as well as a Business Services Specialist. Today she is presenting the progress she has made over the last year as the Marion County Vendor Liaison.
