A budget amendment is necessary to realign accounts and ensure sufficient funding for the remainder of the fiscal year, including increased allocations for Rentals and Leases for vehicle cameras, Office Supplies due to rising paper costs, and Fleet Repairs and Maintenance as expenses are exceeding initial projections; sufficient funds are available within the Reserves for Capital Outlay account to offset these increases.
