DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND:
On behalf of Marion County Utilities (MCU), Procurement advertised a bid for the removal of an existing barbed wire fence and the installation of a new security fence that meets the Marion County Engineering Standards around the Rapid Infiltration Basin System (RIBS) at the Oak Run Waste Water Treatment Plant. The new fence will control access and ensure public safety. Five (5) submittals were received; the tabulation is listed below:

BUDGET/IMPACT:
Neutral; expenditure of $68,590. Up to a ten percent (10%) contingency may be added to the purchase order in accordance with the Procurement Manual. Funding is from ZF448536-563102 - UTC000138 - Marion County Utility Fund
