DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND:
On August 18, 2026, the Board of County Commissioners approved the State Housing Initiative Partnership Program (SHIP) annual report and local housing incentives certification. The SHIP annual report details how the County utilized program funding to support and strengthen affordable housing efforts within the community that were completed during the reporting period.
Marion County’s SHIP annual report was submitted and approved by Florida Housing Finance Corporation (FHFC) on September 8, 2026.
The annual report is available for public view on the FHFC website.
