On October 17, 2023, the Board approved contracts with five firms to deliver geotechnical engineering services accessible to all county departments. These services encompass a range of tasks, including material testing, laboratory analysis, geotechnical exploration, and more. The firms have adhered to the terms and conditions outlined in the original agreement, which includes a provision for a one-year renewal, subject to mutual agreement. Steven Cohoon, P.E., County Engineer, recommends the one (1) year term renewal.

Attached for review are drafts of each firm’s contract. Upon approval at today’s meeting, the contracts will be sent to the respective firms for signatures. Once signed and returned, they will be submitted for signatures by the County Attorney, Clerk, and Chairman.
