DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND:
A budget amendment is needed for the purchase of replacement network switches. Funds were originally budgeted under Machinery & Equipment because the anticipated total exceeded threshold. Upon review, the purchase consists of multiple individual switch units that do not meet the capital requirements and should be coded under Computer Hardware.
