DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND:
This request is to increase Parks and Recreation Other Recreation Programs (AA361335) - FBIP Grant (335701) in the amount of $289,801 and increase Other Recreation Programs (AA361572) - Improvements - CIP (563102) for project PRC202006 in the amount of $289,801.
The Florida Boater Improvement Plan (FBIP) grant is received from the State. The grant is for boating access improvement projects such as boat ramps, public launching facilities, docks, channel markers, boating education, etc. This funding will be for the boat ramp improvements at Ray Wayside Park for project Ray Wayside Site Improvements (PRC202006). This funding was previously tied to project Ray Wayside Park (PRC000032) which has been closed out and funding moved to the updated project Ray Wayside Site Improvements (PRC202006).
BUDGET/IMPACT:
Increase General Fund appropriation by $289,801.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Recommended action
Approve attached Budget Amendment Resolution, amend the CIP, and re-appropriate $289,801 into FY 21/22.
