DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND:
The Southeastern Livestock Pavilion (SELP) is requesting to transfer funds from Regular Salaries & Wages to Contract Services. This budget amendment will allow SELP to hire one contract Event Service Specialist for the remainder of the fiscal year. This contract position is needed to maintain daily operations, provide event support, and meet increasing workload demands while the vacant position remains unfilled. Utilizing a contract employee will provide immediate operational support and help maintain service levels through the end of the fiscal year.
