DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND:
On behalf of the Parks & Recreation Department, Procurement advertised a Request for Proposal for qualified contractors to install and upgrade the 20-year-old sound system at the Southeastern Livestock Pavilion (SELP). The work will be performed in the announcer tower, where the sound equipment is stored, and the three arena areas. One (1) firm responded, the Selection Committee evaluated the proposal, ranking them per the tabulation below:

The Parks & Recreation and Information Technology Departments have reviewed and are in support of the Selection Committee’s recommendation to award to the EZYPA Operations, LLC.
Attached for review is a draft contract; pending approval at today’s meeting, it will be sent to EZYPA Operations, LLC for signatures. Upon return, it will be forwarded to the County Attorney, Clerk, and Chairman for signatures.
BUDGET/IMPACT:
Neutral; expenditure of $179,200. Up to a 10% contingency may be added to the purchase order in accordance with the Procurement Manual. Funding is from AA718572-563102 LPC202304 (General Fund).

Motion to approve recommendation and allow staff to issue contract, and upon approval by Legal, authorize the Chairman to execute contract with EZYPA Operations, LLC under 24P-264.
