DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND:
The Medical Supplies line item is in need of extra funds before the end of the fiscal year, as a result of the response to COVID-19 and the increased prices of materials. Bunker gear is delayed in shipping and will affect next year's funding, however there are realized savings that can be utilized for the Medical Supplies line item. Marion County Fire Rescue is requesting funds be transferred from the Clothing and Wearing line item (552107) to the Medical Supplies line item (552103) to cover needs for response in the community for the rest of this fiscal year.
