DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND:
Line item AA180519-534101 (Contract Services) is in need of a one-time budget amendment to transfer $30,000. This $30,000 will fund the remaining payments for July, August, and September security services rendered by Marion County Sheriff’s Office. A security agreement in place agrees that Facilities Management will pay the applicable fees for security services provided within the McPherson campus for one-third (1/3) of the year. Each month runs approximately 200 hours of security services at a rate of $50 per hour, equating to roughly $10,000 per month. Staff is asking that these funds be transferred from AA180519-512101 (Regular Salaries and Wages), as this line has available funding due to staff vacancies.
