DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND:
On behalf of Marion County Fire Rescue Department, Procurement advertised a bid that allows the pickup and delivery of County-owned medical oxygen cylinders. This includes all labor, equipment, services, incidentals, and permits needed to refill, and hydro-test specified equipment on an as-needed basis. One (1) submittal was received; the tabulation is below:

Marion County Fire Rescue Chief, James Banta, recommends that nexAir, LLC receive the award as the lowest, most responsive, and most responsible bidder.
Attached for review is a draft of the contract; pending approval at today’s meeting, it will be sent to nexAir, LLC for signature and upon return, it will be forwarded to Legal, the Clerk, and Chairman for signatures.
BUDGET/IMPACT:
Neutral; estimated annual expenditure of $67,140. Total expenditure not to exceed annual budgeted amount without being brought back to the Board for approval.

Motion to approve recommendation and allow staff to issue contract, and upon approval from Legal, authorize the Chairman to execute contract with nexAir, LLC, the lowest responsive bidder for 25B-019.
