DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND:
On behalf of Facilities Management, Procurement Services solicited bids to obtain a qualified contractor to perform depression remediation work at Fire Station #17. Two (2) submittals were received and publicly opened in accordance with County procurement procedures.
Following review of the bid results and subsequent discussions between Facilities Management and Procurement Services, it was determined that the low bid was non-responsive and the second low exceeds the project budget. It is in the County’s best interest to reject all bids received and the project be re-advertised to allow for further clarification and refinement of the project scope to ensure accurate and competitive pricing.
BUDGET/IMPACT:
None; rejecting all bids carries no budget impact.

Motion to reject all bids under 26B-016 and allow staff to re-advertise a new bid at a later date.
