DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND:

Applicant Jill Stephens, on behalf of the property owner, Sparr United Methodist Church, has filed a special use permit application to develop four RV spaces with hook-ups to be used twice a year for up to 6 weeks at a time, to provide free accommodations for out-of-area volunteers assisting with church and community service projects in a Regional Business (B-4) zoning on 1.07 acres, pursuant to the provisions of Land Development Code (LDC) Division 2.8 - Special Use Permit, and LDC Section 4.2.20. The subject property is situated outside the Urban Growth Boundary (UGB) and in the County's Secondary Springs Protection Overlay Zone (SSPOZ) as well as being located in the Farmland Preservation Area (FPA).
