DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND:
Funds were originally budgeted in the previous fiscal year and subsequently re-appropriated to the current fiscal year in Machinery and Equipment (564101) to purchase several Conex Storage Boxes to replace aging infrastructure at the Roads Substations. The purchases have been on hold due to lack of stock.
Originally, the price per item was expected to be over the threshold for a Capital Equipment purchase. However, the current quote, now that the items are in stock, does not meet the threshold. As a result, these items must be purchased from a non-capital line per Finance guidelines. The request is to move the funds to Operating Supplies (552108).
