DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND:

The Parks & Recreation department, in cooperation with the Administration department and the Board of County Commissioners, is proud to recognize AdventHealth Ocala and their executive team for their investment in Marion County through a donation of $1,000,000. This team and their organization’s commitment to our community’s health and wellbeing will leave a positive and lasting impact on Marion County, especially in our youth sports community. The County is grateful for the financial contribution towards the Rotary Sportsplex Synthetic Turf project and the opportunity to partner with the incredible executive team representing AdventHealth Ocala.

Their commitment to this project and to Marion County is admirable and we look forward to furthering this partnership in the future.
