DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND:
Tillman & Associates Engineering, LLC, on behalf of the landowner, Armstrong Land, LLC, has filed an application to rezone a ±10.33-acre property site, located at the corner of Pine Road and Bahia Road in Silver Springs Shores, from Planned Unit Development (PUD) to PUD (see Attachment A) for the purposes of modifying the previously-approved PUD for Whisper Woods. The request is to change the PUD product from 82 townhome units to 82 detached single-family residential units. Figure 1 is an aerial photograph showing the general location of the subject property. The subject property is not located within the Urban Growth Boundary (UGB), but is located within the Silver Springs Shores urban area and the Silver Springs Primary Springs Protection Overlay Zone.
