DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND:
On April 7, 2026, the Board of County Commissioners approved the Tourist Development Department to move forward with qualified vendors on an on-call basis to conduct feasibility studies of individual sites for potential tourism enhancements. On April 17, 2026, Tourist Development staff negotiated a scope of work related to Shocker Park and authorized Johnson Consulting to commence the study.
Brandon Dowling, Principal with Johnson Consulting will present the Shocker Park Tourism Evaluation.
