DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND:
On August 19, 2025, the Board approved Final Design services to update original Phase 1B design work for NE 35th Street from 600 feet east of West Anthony Road to CR 200A.
This change order modifies the scope and fees for parcel sketches; adds ITS design scope and fees to include fiber optic cable design and specification, splice points, splicing diagrams, or communications equipment; and reduces scope and fees for the optional signals task and permitting task.
Attached for review is the change order and detailed proposal. Upon approval at today’s meeting, the change order will be forwarded to the Chairman for signature.
BUDGET/IMPACT:
Neutral; additional expenditure of $47,690 (the net increase includes reductions of $22,300 reduced scope mentioned above), bringing the total amount of the purchase order to $260,465.
