DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND:
Marion County has three (3) Commissioner representatives on the Withlacoochee Regional Water Supply Authority (WRWSA). Each representative may have an alternate, who has the power to vote in the absence of the primary designated representative. Before his retirement, Jody Kirkman served as an alternate for the WRWSA. Trevor Knight has been identified as his replacement. There are no other alternates identified at this time. Staff will request approval for two (2) more alternates at a later date.
