DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND:
Project SMC0008WQ - NW 44th Ave Innovative Stormwater Retrofit is being closed. The project was deemed unfeasible due to the capacity limitations of the existing drainage retention area. Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) grant agreement LPS0100 was terminated at the County's request on September 23, 2024. This adjustment removes the grant funding in the amount of $337,381, and transfers remaining funding in the amount of $436,497 to SMC0001MA - SE Timucuan Rd Culvert Replacement, as additional funding is needed in that project to begin construction.
