DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND:
On behalf of Marion County Parks and Recreation, Procurement advertised an RFP for a contractor to build various-sized picnic pavilions at Marion County parks, as needed. The Selection Committee recommendation and Master Contract are also being presented today. Jim’s Complete Construction, LLC met with the negotiations team, which included Parks Director, Jim Couillard, to discuss the scope of work and timeline for the picnic pavilion construction and negotiate pricing.
Attached for review is a draft Task Order agreement. Pending approval at today’s meeting, it will be forwarded to Jim’s Complete Construction, LLC for execution as written, and upon return and approval by Legal, will be processed for the Clerk’s, and Chairman’s signatures.
BUDGET/IMPACT:
Neutral; expenditure shall not exceed $50,224

Motion to approve Task Order, allow Staff to issue contract, and upon approval by Legal, authorize the Chairman to execute agreement with Jim’s Complete Construction, LLC. under RFP 23P-064.
