DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND:
On December 19, 2023, the Board approved contracts with three (3) vendors to provide brand-specific fire equipment and supplies under 24B-024.
Ten-8 Fire & Safety, LLC has requested a revision to Exhibit B - Price Sheet to adjust the manufacturer discounts for two product lines. The requested revisions are as follows:
Elkhart Brass: Adjust discount from 45% to 20%
Key Hose: Adjust discount from 55% to 40%
Marion County Fire Rescue is in support of the requested revisions to Exhibit B.
Attached for review is a draft contract amendment. Upon approval at today’s meeting, the amendment will be sent to Ten-8 Fire & Safety, LLC for signature and, upon approval by Legal, forwarded to the Clerk and Chairman for execution.
BUDGET/IMPACT:
Neutral; the amendment revises the manufacturer discounts identified in Exhibit B - Price Sheet and does not increase the contract amount. Purchases will continue to be made based on the County’s actual needs and available budget.

Recommended action
Motion to approve and allow staff to issue the contract amendment. Upon execution by Ten-8 Fire & Safety, LLC and approval by Legal, authorize the Clerk and Chairman to execute the amendment under 24B-024.
