DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND:
Following a broad search and an interview round with the most qualified candidates, Crystal McCazzio received the highest composite ranking from the interview panel.
The first-round interview panel consisted of an Assistant County Administrator, the Regional Specialist Agent for Family and Consumer Sciences of UF/IFAS Extension, the District Extension Director of UF/IFAS Extension, the Associate Dean of UF/IFAS Extension, and the 4H State Program Leader of UF/IFAS Extension.
In addition to the first interview panel, Ms. McCazzio completed a second-round interview with an Assistant County Administrator, the County Administrator, the Dean of UF/IFAS Extension, and the District Extension Director of UF/IFAS Extension. After the second-round interview process, it is evident that Ms. McCazzio possesses both the skillset and the experience to lead the Extension Services Department to the next level of success.
This memorandum shall serve as a notification to the Board of the appointment of Crystal McCazzio as the next Extension Services Director. Ms. McCazzio’s starting salary is $115,000.00. Barring any discussion from the Commission, Ms. McCazzio will be considered confirmed.
