DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND:
This is a request for approval of a Resolution to vacate a portion of the language as shown on the plat of Silver Acres First Addition a Resubdivision of Tract “AB” Silver Springs Shores Unit Number 21, Plat Book 2, Page 129-130, associated with a petition made by the Board of County Commissioners of Marion County, Florida (County). More specifically the request is to vacate that certain language “NO CONSTRUCTION” related to and lying within the boundaries of Tract ‘A’ from the face of the above mentioned plat. Vacating this language will eliminate the reservation and allow for construction of a County Drainage Retention Area (DRA). This request was considered by the Development Review Committee on August 10, 2021 and it was the Committee’s recommendation that the petition be granted.
