DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND:The Parks and Recreation Department needs to transfer funds into Building and Grounds for the immediate remediation for a sinkhole at Belleview Sportsplex. The Department had Geo Tech review the site and they provided an inspection and recommended repairs. The Department has bid out the remediation but did not have enough funding in Buildings and Grounds without requiring a transfer of funds before moving forward with the repairs. This transfer will allow the Department to quickly repair the sinkhole issue and mitigate relocating any youth sports. The funding is available from the multiple transfer lines for within the operating accounts from savings throughout FY 2024.
