DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND:
Commission Policy 19-01 currently provides an administrative adoption of specific budget amendments that are less than $10,000 between operating accounts or between personnel accounts within a Cost Center.
This revision proposes the following changes:
1. Budget transfers within a Cost Center may go between any Personnel and/or Operating account (Objects 510000 to 559999). This will allow salaries to contract services as an administrative approved transfer.
2. The transfer threshold for Personnel and/or Operating accounts increases to $25,000 per calendar month.
3. Allows transfers between Capital objects (560000-569999) within the same Fund and Project as long as the total project budget doesn’t change.
